Rare et grand miroir en faience polychrome à décor floral, de style Louis XV, réalisé en France au milieu du XIXe siècle.
Cadre intégralement réalisé en faïence moulée, avec un décor polychrome peint à la main d'une très grande finesse, composé de bouquets de fleurs très inspirés du travail de Jean-François Robert ; de réhauts d'or et de cartouches bleues typiques des productions prestigieuses du XIXe siècle.
Dos en parquet bois d'origine.
En bon état général : email craquelé naturellement, un morceau manquant sur le fronton, peinture partiellement effacée à certains endroits, cohérent avec l'ancienneté de la pièce.

Rare and large polychrome faience mirror with floral decoration, Louis XV style, made in France in the mid-19th century.
The frame is entirely crafted from molded faience and decorated with exceptionally fine hand-painted polychrome floral motifs, featuring bouquets strongly inspired by the work of Jean-François Robert, enhanced with gilt highlights and blue cartouches characteristic of the finest French faience productions of the 19th century.
Original wooden parquet back.
Overall in good condition, with natural age-related crazing to the glaze, a small loss to the crest, and areas of partially worn decoration, all consistent with the age and authenticity of the piece.
